The use of telehealth has surged during the coronavirus pandemic, with the technology spreading far and fast. Doctors and patients alike must be wondering, 'is the beginning of a whole new kind of doctor–patient relationship'? One that will transform health care systems? With the uptick in the use of telehealth the Office of Inspector General (OIG) and Center of Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has added Telehealth to the list of audits due to data analysis and non-compliance.
